Black Flower of Life Dish

Black Flower of Life is a ceramic dish by Katie Manekshaw, bringing geometric rhythm into conversation with an organic, softly irregular form. At its centre, an interlocking Flower of Life pattern creates a textured field of charcoal-toned petals, their edges catching the light.

A broad, undulating rim surrounds the dark centre, layered with chalky ivory, smoky grey and subtle green tones. The contrast between the precise repeating motif and the weathered appearance of the surrounding surface gives the piece a quiet, elemental presence.

Displayed on a console or low table, the dish offers a sculptural focal point, inviting a closer appreciation of pattern, texture and light.
